Phone upgrade...

Bought it downtown Montreal in an unlocked state.

Have yet to try it out but when I installed the SIM chip all my numbers were transferred.
Will keep my smaller SIM phone only if I want to carry something ultra slim.

Mind you this is already very slim and light.

Update:... Oops, you have to play the video...

Slightly biased report but you'll get the idea...

What's the brand? HTC?
Boy! It doesn't show on this pic but it's very small!
Hope you will be happy with it! :-)

ya, wifi on a phone would be pretty damn slick. Our current cel providers in canada hose us for cel net access.

Thats was one of my main requirements...
But if I'll be able to find a free access at the required spot is another question...?

Really though, I wanted all my outlook phone number and related info...
Want to see if I can carry around a mini portolfio also ?

The camera should be good for scouting shooting locations...

Sadly my impression is that it's becoming harder to find open WiFi. Hadn't noticed it so much with the laptop, but my iPhone made me realize how many "free" access points make you login or click through some agreements before being redirected to what you requested. It gets obnoxious, especially signing up for all that crap and typing it in time and time again on the small phone. Perhaps it's worse for me because I spend most of my time on campus where all the school WiFi all wants me to re-login every hour. I don't even have WiFi turned on anymore, unless I'm at home and know I'll be surfing for a while. EDGE has been fine for casual browsing, email, etc and thankfully it's an unlimited package.
